Tasting Room Tips & Etiquette

When visiting please consider yourself a guest.
We are proud of our facilities and want everyone to enjoy their visit.

  • Please designate a driver and drink responsibly - Those ounces add up quickly! Eat before your visit or grab a bite at the Round Barn Grille or Public House. Drink water throughout the day and don’t try to visit too many places in 1 day. By law we are not allowed to serve visibly intoxicated people regardless of who's driving.
  • Plan ahead – We are a very popular destination and only have so much space. We strongly encourage you to schedule your wine tasting, especially on summer and fall weekends.
  • Use your inside voice - In general, please remember that the tasting room is a fun place but not a bar at Happy Hour.
  • Don't smoke or wear heavy perfume/cologne - This affects both your tasting experience and the experience of others around you.
  • Put your cell phone on vibrate - If you must take/make a call please excuse yourself from the room.
  • Don’t pick the grapes – Our grapes will become wine one day and it’s how we make our living.
  • Picnics – Each of our locations are unique when it comes to picnicking. Please choose the location you’d like to visit for details.
  • Do not bring other alcohol – Please do not bring wine, beer or spirits from other places or from home. By law we are only allowed to serve and sell our own products on our property. Not to mention it’s offensive to us.
  • Tasting – Keep an open mind. You just might be surprised! Savor each sip, don’t chug it. Read the tasting notes and see if you notice any of the aromas or flavors listed. There are no silly questions, so ask away. It’s part of the experience.
  • Children & Dogs – Children and dogs are welcome (only service dogs at the Public House or IN the round barn) with the assumption that they will be supervised and cleaned up after by you.
